STORE MANAGER & Assistant Buyer (m/f/d)

The ARYS Store, established in 2021, is a curated hub for the best Functional Fashion brands and selected lifestyle items from around the world — including ASICS, Snow Peak, HOKA, Goldwin and other international specialists. ARYS is built for a growing community that feels equally at home in urban life and the outdoors.
We are looking for a warm, driven and entrepreneurial personality who wants to take responsibility and grow into a key leadership role within a premium retail environment.
The Role
As Store Manager & Assistant Buyer, you will play a central role in the ARYS Store. You will run the daily operations, actively drive sales, co-develop the assortment and work closely with the Founder.
This role is for someone who doesn’t just execute, but thinks, leads, analyzes and shapes the future of the store.
Your Responsibilities:
Store, Team & Sales Management

Actively selling and providing premium, personal customer service

Creating a warm, respectful and high-quality customer experience for every visitor

Managing the daily store operations including staff scheduling and team coordination

Leading by example with a friendly, professional and service-oriented mindset

Handling customer requests (in-store, phone & email)

Supporting online orders (picking, packing and shipping)

Co-responsibility for achieving monthly sales targets
Buying & Brand Management

Acting as the operational contact for brands and suppliers

Reordering strong-performing products within defined frameworks
-
Placing orders based on sales data, stock levels and customer feedback

Supporting seasonal buying together with the Founder

Participating in up to two international buying trips per year (Paris)
Merchandise & Operations

Receiving and booking incoming goods

Maintaining a structured and efficient stockroom
-
Ensuring product availability on the shop floor

Proactively sharing relevant information with marketing & management
Visual Merchandising & POS

Responsibility for in-store presentation and visual merchandising
-
Maintaining and optimizing product displays
-
Ensuring a clean, premium and brand-consistent store environment
Reporting & Analysis

Monthly sales and performance reports
-
Identifying bestsellers and slow movers
-
Deriving re-order and optimization opportunities

Close collaboration with the Founder on assortment and sales strategy
Your Profile
-
3+ years of experience in premium retail, fashion, lifestyle or sports
-
Ideally first experience in store or team leadership
-
A warm, communicative and customer-focused personality
-
You treat every customer with respect, attention and genuine appreciation
-
Strong sense for brands, products and aesthetics
-
Analytical thinking and a good understanding of numbers

Structured, reliable and self-driven working style
-
Fluent German is required
-
English is a plus
Working Hours
-
38 hours per week
-
Weekdays: 11:00 – 19:00

Weekends: 11:00 – 17:00

At least 2 Saturdays per month

1 free day per week (can be on a weekday)
Compensation & Benefits

Fixed salary: €3,200 gross per month
