A return fee of 6.95 € (Germany) / 14.95 € (EU/UK/Switzerland) will be deducted from the refund amount.

Update of Houdinis waterproof and breathable shell jacket in a minimalist design. The fabric is quiet, stretchy and perfect all year round. Now in 3-layer material instead of the previous 2.5-layer.
What makes it special? The BFF Jacket II is your everyday adventure companion. Waterproof, breathable, and made from recycled and recyclable polyester, it’s PFAS-free and built to last—hence “best friends forever.”
How does it work? Crafted from Flow 3L, a light, silent, stretchy shell fabric that’s wind- and waterproof. The cut and material ensure full freedom of movement and comfort. Features include adjustable hood and hem, zippered armpit vents, front and inner chest pockets, articulated sleeves with velcro cuffs, seam sealing, and water-repellent zippers—all PFAS-free.
When to use it? Ideal as a year-round shell for rain protection, hiking, or commuting. Designed for versatility and circularity—return it to Houdini when worn out so materials can be reused, reducing environmental impact.

Shell jackets with membrane
- Air out garments to save water, energy, and extend lifespan
- Wash after saltwater exposure, heavy sweat, or dirt to maintain breathability and water repellency
- Use a washing bag to prevent fiber shedding; dispose of lint in the trash, never rinse
- Machine wash cold with mild, eco-certified detergent (no fabric softener)
- Hang dry, then apply heat (dryer, iron, drying cabinet) to reactivate water-repellent finish
- Refresh DWR treatment when needed using organic spray or wash-in products only

Recyclable Products with this label are made from materials that can be reused for new garments instead of becoming waste. Houdini aims to stop using virgin resources from the earth’s crust by 2030. To support circularity, please return worn-out garments to Houdini stores or partner retailers for recycling.
Circular products are made from either recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable fibers. Unlike the linear model of extract–use–discard, this approach reuses existing materials to reduce environmental impact. Return worn-out garments to Houdini’s recycling units to help close the loop.
Recycled Garments with this label contain at least 50% recycled fibers, often more. Sources include old clothes and PET bottles. Houdini primarily uses recycled polyester, which significantly reduces CO₂ emissions and water use compared to virgin polyester—up to 32% less CO₂ and 94% less water in some cases. The key shift: turning waste into raw material.
