Nychair X was founded in 1970 and has been a recognized and respected design project in various parts of the world for over 40 years. Its creator is Takeshii Nii.

The guiding concept of the project, based on Japanese philosophy, was to create a chair that is easy to use, does not take up much space and consists of simple but durable products. NychairX has gained recognition around the world for Japanese quality and comfort.
