Introducing Silvestre: Houdini x Demon at ARYS Store
Last week at ARYS, we welcomed the launch of Silvestre, the new design collaboration between Houdini Sportswear and Demon, with an evening in Berlin shaped around technical design, craftsmanship, and a shared sensitivity to movement between the city and the outdoors.
The evening was conceived as an opportunity to experience the collaboration beyond the product itself. Guests were invited to discover the thinking behind Silvestre, a concept built around movement between urban life and untamed environments. The project reflects a shared interest in technical pieces that feel purposeful, light, and precise, while remaining visually restrained.
At the center of the launch is the Silvestre Approach Shoe, a lightweight technical model designed to move between hiking, scrambling, and everyday use. Combining elements of hiking footwear, climbing slippers, and mountaineering boots, it brings together stability, traction, and comfort in a silhouette that feels both functional and unusually streamlined. Handmade in Montebelluna, Italy, in a carefully limited edition, the shoe proposes a sharper and more considered direction within outdoor footwear.
What made the evening especially compelling was the chance to encounter the collaboration in a more immediate and physical setting. Rather than simply viewing the products, guests were able to engage more closely with the materials, construction, and design direction behind the launch, while spending time with others from Berlin’s creative and outdoor communities.
